Cisco一直声称在7206上加各种板卡需要计算bandwidth point，在使用NPE 400的情况下，每个PCI bus最多只支持600 points，如果oversubscribe的话，PA-2FE, PA-POS-2OC3, I/O-2FE等2 port的板卡就会有一个port无法正常使用，因此大家在配置72的时候也一直会遵从这个规则。但是最近发现公司的两台7206VXR在oversubscribe的情况下仍然可以正常使用I/O-2FE的两个port，难道Cisco晃点大家？
下面是具体信息，每台72上left bus都配了一块I/O-2FE (400 bandwidth points required)，一块SA-VAM(300 bandwidth points required)，total points left bus: 700。
PCI bus mb0_mb1 (Slots 0, 1, 3 and 5) has a capacity of 600 bandwidth points.Current configuration on bus mb0_mb1 has a total of 700 bandwidth points.The set of PA-2FE, PA-POS-2OC3, and I/O-2FE qualify for "halfbandwidth points" consideration, when full bandwidth point countingresults in oversubscription, under the condition that only one of thetwo ports is used. With this adjustment, current configuration on busmb0_mb1 has a total of 500 bandwidth points.This configuration is within the PCI bus capacity and is supportedunder the above condition.
